Fall Ball Girl's Lacrosse League 2009
Back for the 5th year in a row TNLAX will host the popular fall lacrosse league at Moss -Wright Park in Goodlettsville. Most girls are playing fall sports and not thinking about lacrosse until the spring. The fall is a great time to work on developing the fundamental skills of lacrosse including; stickwork, offensive and defensive concepts and competitive strategies. Our coaching staff will include Megan Clark - head coach of TNLAX Club; Dana Messinger - assistant coach of TNLAX club ; along with former college players. For those lacrosse players, grades 5- 12, who want to take their game to the next level, we will be offering the following;
At Moss Wright-Park in Goodlettsville, a 5 week program on Sunday afternoons; Sept. 27, Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25 **Nov. 1
**Since most schools have a fall break, we will be offering a make up date on Nov.1st to anyone who misses a session in October
High School session (9-12th) will run from 3:30-5:30pm with the first hour focusing on stickwork and drills and the next hour consisting of games.
Middle School sessions (5-8th) will run from 2-3:30pm with the first hour focusing on stickwork and drills and the next ½ consisting of games.
The cost for the 5 weeks:
High school will be $135/player
Middle school will be $100/player
The application, waiver and fee due by September 21st
**All players must have protective eyewear and mouth guard in order to participate**
Beginners are encouraged to sign up - the fall is a great time to learn the game in order to play on a team in the spring
