TNLAX-Nashville Girls Lacrosse Team was formed in December of 2005 when thirty high school age girls from the area were selected to compete on a club team coached by Megan Riley Clark, Assistant Coach of the Vanderbilt University Women’s Lacrosse Team.

The Vanderbilt connection has been a real bonus for the sport of lacrosse in Nashville. In the fall of 2005, Coach Megan assisted by several Commodore players ran a Fall Ball Clinic for high school girls interested in improving their skills. It ran for five weeks from September through October and was attended by over sixty girls from the Nashville area.   Fall Ball has now become an annual event.  Because its success, Coach Megan felt the time had come to start a club team that would eventually be able to compete at higher levels with teams across the nation.   This is TNLAX's second season for the high school team and has opened up a opportunity to play at the middle school level with an open house coming soon!

The high school team has twenty, two hour practices starting in January and running through October. Try-outs for the 2007 season were held in November and membership is paid by annual fees.  For more information, email Coach Megan Riley Clark  at tnlax@comcast.net .
